My Kids' Bathroom...

I'm working on changing the kids' bathroom from a froggy theme to a surfer theme. Yesterday, I painted waves on the walls (thanks to lil blue boo and this great tutorial).

I also got these beautiful photo prints from zuppaartista on Etsy:

I still have some finishing touches to do, but I really like how it is coming along!

More Happy Wrists T-Shirt Macrame Cuffs and my Other Etsy Shop

I had opened another Etsy shop, called Dalghouse, a while back to sell seed beads and things (similar to my Ebay store). I have recently given it a makeover, and now I am going to use it to sell upcycled clothes and accessories...and some custom painted t-shirts. So, I moved all of my macrame cuff bracelets to my other Etsy shop, Dalghouse boutique.

Here are some of the new cuffs that I have added:

You can find all of these bracelets here.

You can also find this really simple and pretty onesie. I added roses around the neck using t yarn.
and this onesie with pink flowers:

If you get a chance...please stop by and take a look!
Thanks:)

T-Shirt Yarn

I have been very fascinated with t-shirt yarn lately. So...this weekend...I finally made some! I love it! I love the concept of recycling old t-shirts...plus, it is oh so soft. Oh, the many ideas of how to use it that I have swirling around in my head! Here is the tutorial by Polka Dot Pineapple that I used. I found the tutorial through Lil Blue Boo (such an inspirational blog...my new favorite!). What will you do with your t-shirt yarn? I hope to post a picture of what I made tomorrow...

Felt Grocery Shopping...

My daughter, Sienna, received a lot of play grocery toys for her 3rd Birthday. So, my kids have been having fun playing grocery store and house lately. Today I made a couple of things out of felt to add to her collection. I have been seeing the cutest little felt tea bags on Etsy, etc... Here is a really cute tutorial for felt tea bags. I made my own version ( I even put some real mint tea bags inside, so they would smell good). I also made a brown felt "paper" bag to hold all of their groceries! Felt-o-rama blog has a great list of felt food tutorials. You have to check out this cute Roll-up Kitchen Playmat Tutorial.

All of these projects were sewn on my machine using a simple strait stitch. I am a still learning (teaching myself) to sew on a machine. These were so easy to make. Also, all of the felt that I used was recycled eco-felt that I won from Felt-o-rama...my favorite felt shop...you must check it out!

Strawberry necklace

I love when things turn out exactly like I pictured in my mind (maybe even a little better)!
Here is a necklace that I just finished. It is the one I was brushing up on the daisy chain for. It also features one of the polymer clay strawberries that I just finished.

The necklace pictured is for my 3 year old daughter, Sienna. I also made one for my 7 year old, Ramona. And...I like it so much...I might just make one for my Etsy shop!

**update: added a similar necklace to my Etsy shop**

A few new items...

have been added to my Etsy shop:
3 Ghost Set Halloween Polymer Clay Magnets
Boo Halloween Polymer Clay Magnet
I used glow in the dark clay with all three.
P.s. I also added a Halloween section to my shop.
