Enjoy

Hope that everyone gets to enjoy
this special time with family and friends!
My Etsy shop will be back open soon.
Luke 2:10-11
And the angel said to them:

Fear not; for behold,
I bring you good tidings of great joy,
that shall be to all people.
For, this day, is born to you a Savior,
who is Christ the Lord,
in the city of David."

Just for fun

I let my son (he's 6) make a blog
for our dog Hunter!
He loves his dog!
She is his (very hairy) best friend!
Hunter was a crazy, wild puppy...
but she has grown into
a smart, sweet, and loyal family pet!
We love her!

More ornaments...

This time for us:)

I made the ornaments below to tie onto our teacher's gifts.
And these ornaments were for my kids:
Ramona got braces this year...
Charles just likes penguins...
and Sienna wanted a fairy princess (of course!).

The Last of the Season

Here are the last of the family ornaments that I made:

I had a couple of requests for multiples of their kids.
What a cute gift for the Grandparents!

More Family Ornament Cuteness

How cute are the sunglasses?!?!
I've also had the pleasure of creating
a couple of nurses (like below)
and a doctor (above) dressed in scrubs:)

Christmas Beaded Earring Patterns (Brick Stitch)

Here is a link to all of
my Christmas earring beading patterns.
The Santa pattern is very special
to me because I created it for my grandma, Nona,
who past away this year.
They were created to replace a pair of beaded
Santa earrings that I made her when I was
around 13 or 14 years old.
She always wore them at Christmas time!
She was my biggest fan:)

More Family Ornaments!

Here are some more family ornaments that I have made!
I love how each has its own personality.

Okay...How cute are the bare feet on the ornament below!
I wasn't sure if I could do bare feet, but I think it turned out so cute!
Hope that you aren't getting sick of these:)
P.S. I can't take any more ornament orders.
I want to make sure that everyone gets their ornament in time.
But, you can still check out my shop (http://3moonbabies.etsy.com)...
I hope to be open again for custom orders soon!

A Chalkboard Dresser and a Rosary

I've had this dresser on my "to-do" list for forever!
I finally got to it yesterday!
I painted an old dresser
(that my parents had given me) in chalkboard paint,
and painted the knobs like little mushrooms.
I think that it turned out great!
The kids have already had so much fun coloring on it!
The little mushroom knobs are magical:)
Here is the step in which you cover
the whole chalkboard surface in chalk.
My 4-year-old daughter had fun with this part!
Finished!

I also made this rosary yesterday.
It is going to be a gift.

Now, back to making more ornaments!

I bought the cutest dolls for my kids on Etsy!
I have to recommend this shop:
You can tell that so much love goes into making these dolls!
They even come with a little story about them:)
My kids are going to love these!
I was able to find one that matched each of their personalities!

Witches Fingers

I bought a cheap candy mold for these witches fingers
the last time I was at Michaels.
They turned out really cute,
but I don't know if I would make them again...
at least not 50 of them!
I made them for two of my kids to take to school.
My main problem is that
those candy melts can get expensive.
The other is that it is so hard to find a bag of pretzel rods
that are not all broken and in pieces!
Oh, and you can only make 6 at a time.
It takes a while to let each set harden,
so that you can pop it out and start on the next.
The kids did love them though:)
Plus, Sienna (my youngest) and I had fun making them!

Nevada Day Celebration

My kids get to dress up in two costumes each year!
Their school has a Nevada Day celebration,
and they have to dress up
in a costume relating to Nevada.
Here they are all dressed up for the Nevada Day celebration!

Charles is a Desert Tortoise (Nevada's state reptile).
We covered a bowl with a camouflage t-shirt and added straps.
Here is Ramona as Silver (Nevada's state metal).
She wore a silver dress
(that I made using a Lil Blue Boo Pattern and a thrifted shirt),
and we covered and decorated a headband with tin-foil.

A Sneak Peek

At our Halloween costumes:
My son painting stripes on his costume...
Can you guess what he is going to be?
hint: It's a character from a movie.
My oldest daughter's costume accessories.
I bet you can guess what she is going to be:)
She wrote it on her bib necklace!

My youngest is going to be a disney princess, of course!
I was going to make her costume
(because I didn't want to spend $20 on it),
but we lucked out
and found one for $5 at a second hand shop!

Btw...
Have you heard of Kandee Johnson?
She is a make-up artist that makes the most wonderful
youtube video tutorials.
My 4 year old and I are obsessed
with her Halloween make-up tutorials!
hint..hint...
now you can guess what my youngest is going to be:)

Hope that everyone is having fun getting
ready for Halloween!

It's Bigger...It's Better:)

Here is the new-and-improved love bird cake topper.
You can already find this one in my Etsy shop.
I will try to get a custom listing up tonight.
Oh...
And here is a photo to show the size comparison.
The one with the red rose is the much smaller, old version.

A New Ornament

Here is the new CUSTOM ornament
that I added to my Etsy shop.
It would make a wonderful gift for a new home owner.
I think it would also be a great way
to remember where you lived in 2010
(or any other year that you wish).
What a cute way for military families to remember all of the different places that they have lived or traveled to.

That I just finished. I love how it turned out!
Ornaments are so much fun to make:)
They are such a great way
to remember life changes and happy memories!
The best part is that you can be reminded of those special memories each year when you decorate your tree!
