Ramona and Sienna have 4th of July nails! I painted them with acrylic paints, then added a clear sparkle top coat of nail polish. They turned out cute, and the girls were very happy!
My youngest, Sienna (age 4), brought me this picture she drew yesterday. She was so proud of herself! I made her sign it with her name, which she did not like. Guess the artist in her thought it ruined the picture. Isn't it cute? Reminds me of one of Jim Henson's muppets!
Look at all of the fresh spinach from our garden! We just use it as lettuce...in salads, sandwiches, etc... My 4 year old, Sienna, eats this stuff like candy! Just goes to show you, food is much more fun to eat when you have grown it!
Hope all your summer veggie gardens are doing well!
I've seen a couple of notebook paper styled pillows and shirts, and think the idea is super cute! So, today I took some Crayola Fabric Markers and a ruler and transformed a onesie into a piece of notebook paper! Now to figure out what message to write on it! You could do this to a Men's t-shirt and write a special note from the kids on it for a Father's Day gift! You can write the message on with a fabric marker or embroider it. The possibilities are endless!
We made homemade oreos the other day! These were super easy to make- very simple ingredients...and very yummy! The only change we made was using all butter for the filling, instead of using the shortening. I love recipes that I already have all the ingredients for. I hate going to the grocery store! The recipe was from Smitten Kitchen.
