More cute than scary...

Sock Skeletons!

I saw these on The Crafty Crow yesterday...and had to make them! Here is a link to the tutorial on marthastewart.com. It's really easy to follow. The only change that I made was that I embroidered on the eyes, instead of using buttons. I like the button eyes, but thought that embroidered eyes would be safer for my kids...and just make them better to snuggle with:)

Wow, those are super cool! Just in time for Halloween! I've been working on my son's falcon costume. Need to get it just right so he doesn't look like a chicken. That would be disastrous! Did you do the kids costumes this year?

Thanks guys!

That falcon costume sounds neat. I hope that you post pictures on your blog! I'm -sort of- making my kids' costumes. My oldest daughter is going to be a rock star, my son is going to be a skeleton (I just painted bones on a black sweat suit) and my youngest daughter is going to be an oompa loompa...which I still need to put something together for:)
