Strawberry Earrings Beading Pattern

Hi everyone!

I had planned on writing another kindle book, and I still might, but I have decided to share some of the patterns I was going to include here on my blog instead.

Here is a pattern for seed beaded/brick stitch strawberry earrings.

living with ThreeMoonBabies | Strawberry Earrings Beading Pattern

This pattern was completed using a combination of ladder stitch, single and two drop brick stitch (as with many of my other patterns).  A foundation row is created using a ladder stitch with two beads in each row.  The rest of the beadwork is completed using either a single or two bead brick stitch.  It's another really good beginner's project because there are no complicated increases or decreases.  I used round, size 11/o seed beads for the earrings pictured above, but feel free to experiment with the pattern using various sizes and shapes of beads.  Various colors can be used too.  They would look awesome in a sparkly red.

You can get the PDF download for this pattern HERE.

Avocado Earrings Beading Pattern

Hi everyone!

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, but...
I have a new beading pattern for you!

This one was inspired by the area where I grew up.  My grandparents lived in a house surrounded by avocado trees, and I have grown up loving them.  In my opinion, there's no better snack than some chips and guacamole!

Anyway...

Here is a pattern for seed beaded/brick stitch avocado earrings.

The Midas Ring

Hi everyone!
Guess what....
I have a fun, new beading pattern for you!

I have been loving glittering gold lately...
so I decided to create this crown ring.

The Midas Ring | livingwiththreemoonbabies.blogspot.com

There are two versions of the pattern.

The Midas Ring | livingwiththreemoonbabies.blogspot.com

This pattern is completed using a ladder and brick stitch.
You will need a beading needle, beading thread, and seed beads.
I used 11/0, round, silver-lined, topaz seed beads to get the glittering, gold look:)
I also used 8/0, round, transparent, rose-colored seed beads
on the tips of the second pattern to get a different look.
You are free to experiment with different colors and sizes of beads!

Seed Beaded American Beauty Earring Pattern

These earrings would be perfect for the 4th of July!
Feel free to use the pattern to make yourself a pair (or buy them in my Etsy shop!).
You will need to know how to do a two drop brick stitch and looped fringe.
Size 11/0 round or cylinder type beads will work best. I used Toho 11/0 seed beads in
cobalt silver lined, silver galvanized matte, ruby silver lined matte and white opaque (but any shade of red, white, blue and silver will work).

Seed Beaded Cupcake Earring Pattern...

Here is the pattern for the brick stitch seed beaded cupcake earrings that are in my giveaway. They are really simple and quick to make! They would be a great first project using brick stitch. The earrings would also make a cute gift. You will need: a beading needle (I used size 13), beading thread (I used Toho One G, but a size B or thinner Nymo would work too), 2 red size 8/0 round seed beads for the cherry on top, 11/0 seed beads for the frosted top and loop, and cylinder seed beads for the bottom of the cupcake earring. You could use size 11/0 or cylinder seed beads for the whole thing, but I think that the different sizes/types of seed beads give the earring a little texture. It makes the frosting look more puffed up! P.S. Please check out my store, Dalghouse beads, for Toho seed beads and beading supplies. Okay....Here is the pattern. Click on pattern to enlarge:

Start in the center of the cupcake with 8 rows of two beads in each row using the ladder stitch. Next, work your way up the cupcake using brick stitch. You will stop when you get to the row that is only four beads wide. Go down one bead and up the next, then brick stitch on the 8/0 red bead in the very center of the four beads. Now you have a cherry! Scoop up 6 beads and go back down the cherry to make a loop for the ear wire. You will want to reinforce the loop by weaving your thread down and around the loop a few times. After you reinforce the loop, weave your thread down through the part that you have finished to the very bottom of your first row. Flip your piece. Now, using a cylinder type seed bead (like Treasures or Delicas) brick stitch the remaining part of the pattern...stopping when you get to the row with 4 beads. Tie off, and weave your ends through. You are finished!

Here is a finished pair:

Seed Beaded Christmas Santa Claus Earring Pattern

Hi! I have a new Christmas brick stitch earring pattern for you! It is a Santa Claus pattern. I had made a pair of Santa earrings for my Grandma over 10 years ago...and thought that I would send her a more updated version this year. Here is the pattern that I came up with. They are a really nice size too! This pattern uses brick stitch (obviously my favorite stitch!) and fringe. It is mostly single brick stitch, with the brim of Santa's hat being the only row of two drop brick stitch. The beard is composed of looped fringe.
I chose a deep red shade for my Santa's hat, but you can use a more traditional red color (or really any color that you wish). I used Toho Treasures size #1. My Santa is composed of 6 different bead colors. You will also need a needle and beading thread (I used Toho One G and a size 13 needle).
Here is the pattern. Click on the picture to enlarge:

Start in the center with 10 rows of two beads in each row using the ladder stitch. Next, work your way up, using the pattern in brick stitch, to the tip of the hat, finishing the hat with a six bead loop to hang your earring finding. Then, work your thread to the bottom of the earring, flip and finish the bottom half of his face. Once you are finished with Santa's face...it is time for his beard. I worked my thread up to the first ladder stitch row, then added fringe around the bottom half of the earring and back up to the other side. Add earring finding...done!
Here is my finished pair of Santa earring:

Seed Beaded Christmas Light Bulb Earring Pattern

Hi!
Here is a pattern for some really quick and easy brick stitch

Christmas light bulb earrings~

technique: brick stitch (two drop and single)
supplies:
11/0 seed beads (could also use Toho Treasures or Delicas)
in 3 different colors
beading needle
thread

These earrings are done using a combination of two drop and single brick stitch. You will be starting in the center of the earring. Start by stringing 4 beads. You will do a ladder stitch, creating 9 rows of two beads in each row. Next you will work your way up...following the pattern. Once you get to the last row with two beads, then you string 6 beads to create the loop for the ear wire. You will want to go through the loop a couple times to reinforce it. Now you work your way down the earring and flip to do the bottom half. Follow the pattern by doing 3 rows of 2 drop brick stitch, then finish the rest with a single bead brick stitch until you get to the last row with two beads. To finish, tie off and weave loose threads through and cut. This earring pattern can be done in any color combination. I could also see it as a strawberry! Just add some random black seeds throughout and change the "stem" to green:)

Seed Beaded Christmas Tree Earring Pattern

Hi!
Here is a pattern for some really cute and easy brick stitch Christmas tree earrings~

technique: brick stitch

supplies:
11/0 seed beads
(3 different colors)
(6) 4mm Czech fire polished faceted glass beads
(1) 6mm Czech fire polished faceted glass bead

This earring is done in a 3 drop brick stitch with 4mm sized Czech fire polished glass beads added in. I start at the bottom row of the tree and work my way up to the top. After finishing the 7th row ( the 3 rows of 3 drop), next add a 6mm sized Czech fire polished glass bead by going up through the middle 3 drop row, row 2, and up through the 6mm bead. Then add 6 seed bead and go back down through the 6mm bead to form a loop. The loop will be used to hang the tree on your earring hook. Lastly, I go down though the tree to add the trunk. Do one row, 4 wide, of three drop brick stitch, then finish with a sing row of brick stitch. Tie off...and finish as you usually do...threading the thread through to hide it, etc. This project will work up nicely with many different color variations. I am planning on doing an all white, flocked version too!

Please feel free to ask any questions that you might have!
