Fall Bucket Lists

I absolutely love the idea of having a Fall bucket list.
You know... a list of all the things you MUST do during Fall.
I was thinking of making my own, but there are so many great ones out there already.

Here are some of the bucket lists I found floating around on Pinterest.

I really love this one from How to Nest for Less:

And a few more...

I still might end up making my own version, but these Fall bucket lists are great inspiration!

Can't wait to start enjoying some Fall fun!
(P.S. Fall officially begins September 22!)

Shaving Cream Fight, Anyone?

Wow!  Where did the summer go?
We did so many fun things...it flew by!
I guess the old saying is true,
"time flies when you're having fun"!

The kids start back at school on Monday, so I hope to be able to post more soon!
Lots and lots of ideas swirling through my head:)
Oh, and I still have my next beading book in the works!

Lemonade

The girls have been begging me all summer to make a lemonade stand, so when my Mom sent us a big box of lemons....it seemed like the perfect time!
 My little entrepreneurs!
Yay!  They made about $8.00!
(We have some very nice neighbors!)
They had so much fun and couldn't stop talking about it!

A Campout Birthday Party

My son turned 8 on Monday, and we are having a campout sleepover party for him this Friday. The party theme was also the inspiration for his S'mores cupcakes I shared earlier. I will be doing a similar S'mores flavored cake for his party.
Here are the invites we sent out to just a couple friends:

We have also had fun putting together some themed goody bags.
We lucked out with all of the "spring" type items they have in the dollar bins right now. We used a bug net to hold a giant bug, magnifying glass, flashlight, and some other goodies.
I know the boys will be entertained for a while with these!

Happy St. Patrick's Day

A leprechaun stopped by last night...
and left us some green milk!
Hope everyone has a fun St. Patrick's Day!

Worms in Dirt Cupcakes

We made these "worms in dirt" cupcakes for my daughter Ramona's Birthday a couple of years ago, and she says her friends still talk about them...so Ramona wanted me to make them again. They are just chocolate frosted cupcakes dipped in crushed Oreos with a gummy worm on top. Easy-Peasy!

Seeds of Change

We sent away for some free seeds from Seeds of Change. The kids were so excited when the package arrived! What's more fun than a garden filled with lots of yummy vegetables to eat? There couldn't be a better way to get kids excited about eating veggies either! Even Charles, my pickiest eater, said he couldn't wait to eat everything that we planted!

See...
Even Hunter is excited;)

We painted rocks to use as plant markers.

Charles' bean plant he brought home from school.

Hopefully, everything will grow!

My Baby is Turning 9!

How did that happen?!?!
Seriously...it seems like just yesterday
she was my tiny little baby!
Sienna (my youngest) and I had fun making this candy card to give her tomorrow for her Birthday.

Remember these?
I got one as a kid from a friend and loved it!
Hope that she does too:)

Just for fun

I let my son (he's 6) make a blog
for our dog Hunter!
He loves his dog!
She is his (very hairy) best friend!
Hunter was a crazy, wild puppy...
but she has grown into
a smart, sweet, and loyal family pet!
We love her!

Build Your Own Cupcake

I recently stumbled upon
a really talented artist named Jessica.
Her Etsy shop is called vol.25.

I seriously NEED this print:)

She also has a really inspiring blog.

While browsing it, I found this FREEBIE:

My kids will have so much fun with it!
Now, I just need to get some ink for my computer;)

The Wonderful Thing About Sharpies

is Sharpies are wonderful things!
I have to admit...
I love Sharpies!
Especially now that they come
in so many different colors and tip sizes.
It's surprising all of the things
that can be done with a Sharpie!
Flickr has many differentgroups devoted to the Sharpie!
You also must check out

Here are a couple more Sharpie themed blog posts
that you should check out:
I would love to be able to draw tattoos
like Cathe of Just Something I Made!
Talk about being the life of the party. How fun!
I've had these graffiti shoes by Ashley of Lil Blue Boo
on my to-do list for quite a while.
Maybe I will get to them by the time
the kids start school in the fall.
But, are they too cool for school?;) I love them!

Color Me House

Thanks to Lil Blue Boo...we discovered the Color Me House. My kids are so excited about it! We are not going to put it together until Sienna's 3rd birthday in a few days. I will post some pictures of the "colored" house after her birthday. The picture below is from http://colormehouse.com/.

P.S. We got it at Costco for $19.99...they are selling it for $39.95 on their website.

What a fun wedding!

This has nothing to do with beading or polymer clay...but it sure is creative! You have to see this video of the JK Wedding Entrance Dance:

They also have a website.

I had fun making these silhouettes of my kids today:

Little teddy bears

That's what we made yesterday. One for each of my kids. I made them out of their old shirts and dresses.

I think that I was inspired by the "Save Handmade" logo.

Have you voted at Change.org yet? That's an easy way to help save handmade.

What to do with a large cardboard box?

Make a house, of course!
My kids and I had fun making this today. It is more like a doll house, but my 2 year old could fit inside.

It even has a drive thru window! We had fun ordering up milkshakes and fries:)
