I think that I've gone a little tweet crazy:)

I just added another "tweet" themed item to my Etsy shop:

Tweet on a Hand Painted Wood Box Purse with Polymer Clay Charm

These little tweets are all waiting to be transformed into earrings, etc.:

It seems like you like them...and actually, I am pretty fond of them myself:)

I have so many "tweet" inspired ideas....hmmm....I better get to work!

Tweet on a (real) Stick

Here is one of my little birds on a real stick!

The blob at the bottom is liquid polymer clay. I used it to add strength and stability.
Also, I upgraded my magnets from those big, bulky, black ceramic ones to the teeny, tiny, cute, neodymium magnets! They are so strong too (and much better looking)!
I have added this magnet to my etsy shop.

Tweety Long Legs

I have been trying to come up with a way to make my birds with poseable legs. I think that they would look so cute in a group, all with legs of various lengths. Here is the first "tweety long legs" that I made. I am still trying to come up with a sturdier version...
Look at those big feet!

My Polymer Clay Covered Egg...

Here is my finished polymer clay covered egg.

First, I hollowed out the egg. I covered it with a thin coat of liquid sculpey and baked. Next, I covered the egg with a smooth layer of brown polymer clay and baked again. I added lots and lots of brown polymer clay flowers...then baked again. Last, but certainly not least, I added one of my tweet little birds to the top!

P.S...I did try to scent the brown clay by adding cocoa powder...it did not work. The clay was fine, but after adding a good amount, it still smelled more like clay than chocolate.
