More Upcycled T-shirt Accessories

I've added more Crescen-T upcycled t-shirt accessories to my Etsy shop!

I've also introduced something new... the corsage bracelet. My 9 year old daughter loves wearing bunches of these, and they are much cuter than silly bands;) All of her friends love them too!
And here are a few more example pictures of what was added....

This necklace has already been featured in a treasury!
Thanks for looking!

Upcycled T-shirt Accessories

I have listed some of what I made from all of the T-yarn in my Etsy shop. I have decided to call it all "Crescen-T" to go with my shop's moon theme. I think the scrappy roses have become my favorite, and my little Sienna (pictured below) has become the perfect headband model:)

T-yarn

Oh how I've missed working with t-yarn!
I finally got to cutting up a bunch of t-shirts I've been collecting.

I can't wait to make something with all of this yarn!
Hope to share something (maybe more of these or these?) soon!

Goodie Bags for the 4th

I made these goodie bags for my three little ones.
They were 100% upcycled from t-shirts.

What's more fun than
getting a bunch of candy at a 4th of July Parade?:)
Hope that everyone has a wonderful and safe 4th of July tomorrow.

I made a hoodie!

Next...I need to find some girly t-shirts, so I can make each of my daughters one! Sienna requested one with a rainbow. Hope I can find a t-shirt with a rainbow on it:) If not, I guess I could paint one! I'm off to the thrift store tomorrow!

Joy

I just added a new painted shirt set to my other etsy shop. This one spells out JOY.
I am going to use them for my Christmas cards this year.
Today I wanted to get some pictures of the shirts on my models.
Unfortunately, I picked the absolute worst time of day to take pictures...too bright...too many shadows...etc...etc.
But, I was determined to work with them!
With the help of some Pioneer Woman Photoshop Actions, I think that they aren't too bad:)
Which one should I use for my Christmas cards???
#1

#2

#3

#4
I think that I like # 4 the best...but not too sure...hmmmm...what do you think?
(P.s. I'm also planning on using part of the lyrics for "Joy to the World" somehow in my cards.)
What do you do for your holiday cards? Do you make them?

T-Shirt Bags

This is possibly the easiest, most satisfying craft project ever!
I made shirt bags out of my kids' favorite t-shirts (that they had outgrown).
All that you have to do is turn the shirt inside out and sew straight across the bottom. Then turn right side out and cut around the neck and arms. TADA!!!
For more detailed instructions, here is a good video from Martha Stewart.
