I have been very fascinated with t-shirt yarn lately. So...this weekend...I finally made some! I love it! I love the concept of recycling old t-shirts...plus, it is oh so soft. Oh, the many ideas of how to use it that I have swirling around in my head! Here is the tutorial by Polka Dot Pineapplethat I used. I found the tutorial through Lil Blue Boo (such an inspirational blog...my new favorite!). What will you do with your t-shirt yarn? I hope to post a picture of what I made tomorrow...
Wow! I'm excited to see what you do with the t-shirt yarn...there's no shortage of material there, no waiting for it to ship and no going into town. Super cool! ; )
I'm very excited to find more and more t-yarn (as I call it) enthusiasts. If you want see some things I made in my shop: http://lechatcrochet.etsy.com Also recommended: http://www.myrecycledbags.com She's mainly a plarn-designer but does t-yarn as well and all her plarn patterns can be doene in t-yarn as well.
Thanks for the websites! I love that you call it t-yarn! I think that I will start calling it that too:) Your shop is great...I especially like the cuffs and your flowers! I marked your shop as a favorite.
